Amelia & Theo

Amelia and Theo met at a friend’s harvest supper and spent the evening arguing, very happily, about the best way to make lemonade. Six years later they wanted a wedding that felt just like that night: long tables, too much food and everybody they loved within arm’s reach.

We began with a single word from Amelia — “orchard” — and built everything around it. Peach and apricot roses, trailing jasmine and sage linen ran the length of the walled garden, where Theo’s grandmother’s hymn opened the ceremony.

Dinner moved into the orangery at dusk, with lemonade (made the right way, eventually) and a cellar wine pairing. The band started at nine, the sparklers came out at eleven and nobody wanted to go home.
